Kyle Marcolla of Chillicothe Wins 22nd NMC Benefit Golf Classic
Kyle Marcolla and Jason Montgomery, both of Chillicothe, were last-minute entries into this year's event, and they took this year's championship down to the wire! In perfect weather conditions, the pair shot 4-under-par scores of 68, which led to a six-hole playoff before Marcolla claimed this year's Low Gross Championship.
Ed Manring of Albany took home this year's Low Net Championship, and Albany's Tom Schneider captured the putting contest title, edging out Norman Higginbotham.
Just as he did two years ago, golf entertainer Dan Boever awed the crowd with his long drive and trick shot performance in the afternoon. The event generated approximately $30,000 for Northwest Medical Center. If you have comments or questions about the hospital's annual fundraiser, please contact event coordinator Chuck Davis at (660) 726-3941 or send an email to chuck.davis@northwestmedicalcenter.net.

Northwest Medical Center Association Holds Annual Meeting
The Northwest Medical Center Association held its annual meeting Monday night to update members on hospital operations and to elect members of the hospital’s Board of Directors and various Association committees.
Each year, four spots on the 12-member board are filled. This year, Association members re-elected JoAnn Gibbany and Serena Naylor of Albany, as well as Kevin Harding of Allendale. Voters also added David Parman, Grant City, to the Board. Parman fills the position vacated by Robert Miller of Albany, who decided not to run for re-election.
“I’ve really enjoyed working with everyone,” said Miller. “And, I’m very proud of what this hospital has been able to accomplish.”
In addition, Myrna Griesinger and Kay Holcomb were elected to serve on the Membership Development Committee. Tonya McCampbell and Craig Thompson were selected for the Resource Development Committee, and vacancies on the Nominating Committee were filled by Kent Wilson and Jan Yeager.
