Northwest Medical Center opened its doors as Gentry County Memorial Hospital in September, 1957. Creation of this facility was made possible by the concern and dedication of men and women with a vision to provide the finest quality health care in a compassionate, professional manner. Honored on our “Wall” are the many individuals, families and organizations whose generous gifts provided not only for the initial construction, but also for necessary expansions and additions of services. Those who have given so unselfishly have allowed Gentry County Memorial Hospital, and subsequently Northwest Medical Center, to continue to pursue its mission of caring and service to our community.
