Community Services
“Caring for Kids” – free dental plan offered by NWMC to those children who are enrolled in MO HealthNet (formerly Medicaid) in cooperation with Dr. Thomas Schneider. Contact Connie Worden for details.
Free Holiday Meals – NWMC offers free meals at Thanksgiving and Christmas in our dining room. Anyone is eligible to receive the meals. For those who are home-bound, the hospital will deliver the meals within a 20 mile radius. More information will be available near the holidays.
Free CPR classes – NWMC teaches American Heart Association “Heartsaver” and “Friends and Family” CPR classes periodically; however, special classes can be arranged by contacting Connie Worden.
Free Exercise Classes – NWMC provides free exercise classes targeting middle-age to older individuals. The classes are Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 9:30 until 10:30 at the Albany Community Center. One does not need to be a member of the Community Center to participate.
Clean Hands Program – each year, NWMC provides our service area schools with free hand-sanitizers to assist in controlling the spread of infectious disease.
